“Okay.. Just checking.” He shrugged.and stood up. “Ready to go?”
“Yep, yep!” He happily hooked an arm around Shu and walked out of the restaurant. “Where is the ice cream shop? Is it far? Do we walk?”
He chuckled and patted his head. “Of course we’re walking. And its only a few blocks from here anyways. Its close to my house to.”
“Oi, are you allowed to do that?” He tilted his head slightly, holding the box close to him.
He tilted his head to the side. “Do what?”
“Kiss my cheek.” He puffed out his cheek, resting his chin on the table.
Tala giggled and bent down, poking Shu’s cheek. “And why is that? I can kiss my brother on the cheek too! There’s nothing wrong.”
“Okay.. Just checking.” He shrugged.and stood up. “Ready to go?”
“Oi, are you allowed to do that?” He tilted his head slightly, holding the box close to him.
He tilted his head to the side. “Do what?”
“Kiss my cheek.” He puffed out his cheek, resting his chin on the table.
“Nothing.” He nodded and thanked the waiter as he came back with the check and box. Shu looked at the receipt and put the exact amount. Then he packed the food neatly inside the box.
“Eh? Shu is treating Tala? Thank you!” He grinned and stood up, kissing Shu on the cheek to thank him.
